The tendencies, laws and problems of development of world food system and their influence on national agrofood sphere are investigated in this book. The analysis of the major aspects of equation of the world grocery markets and their Belorussian segment is carried out, offers on increase of their stability are given.
According to the technique, criteria and indicators of the Concept of the national Food Security approved by the decision of Ministerial Council of Belarus from March, 10th, 2004 № 252, on the basis of the data of National Statistical Committee, and also the Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuff, in a context of world problems, levels of safety and independence in foodstuffs sphere, including regional aspect are defined, physical and economic availability of the foodstuffs to the population taking into account quality of life, potential threats are revealed, measures and mechanisms of their prevention are proved. Tendencies of formation and functioning of the internal food market are defined, proved the forecast and prospects of its sustainable development.
