History of the Institute
In 1956, on the basis of the Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus and the Council of Ministers of the Byelorussian SSR of April 5, 1956 No. 174 and the Resolution of the Central Committee of the CPSU of July 16, 1956, as well as the order of the Minister of Agriculture of the BSSR of October 25, 1956 No. 309-K, the Belarusian Research Institute of Economics and Organization of Agricultural Production was organized. The institute has been operating under its current name since 2008. It is subordinated to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
