The Institute today:

       the Institute is the flagship of scientific thought in the field of the agrarian economy of the country, accumulating advanced developments and approaches for successful work in modern conditions;

the Institute's structure includes 5 research departments, including 18 sectors. The number of researchers is 88 people, including 1 academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, 5 doctors of sciences, 4 of them in the rank of professor, 22 candidates of sciences, 14 associate professors;

       there are postgraduate and doctoral programs in the specialty 08.00.05 – economics and national economy management (specialization is the Agroindustrial Complex: economics, organization and management of enterprises, industries, complexes), as well as the Thesis Board  Д 01.48.01 for the defense of doctoral and candidate's theses. The Institute prepares scientific and teaching personnel of higher qualification not only for themselves, but also for other scientific organizations and higher educational institutions, and not only the Republic of Belarus, but also other countries;

       the founder of the magazine «Agrarian Economics».
