XVII International Scientific and Practical Conference «Current Problems of Innovative Development of Agro-Industrial Complex of Belarus»

On October 27, 2023, at the Belarusian State of the Orders of the October Revolution and the Order of the Labour Red Banner Agricultural Academy, a plenary meeting of the XVII International Scientific and Practical Conference «Current Problems of Innovative Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Belarus» was held dedicated to the 165th anniversary of training in the specialty «Economics» and 95-anniversary of the formation of the Faculty of Economics.

Employees of the Institute participated in the thematic area of the conference «Organizational and economic conditions for innovative development of agricultural production in the Republic of Belarus».

Gorbatovskiy A. V., Head of Sector of Economics of Agro-Industrial Branches, PhD and Gorbatovskaya O. N., Head of Management and Digitalization Sector, PhD, associate professor, presented a report on the topic «The influence of socio-economic conditions of the regions on the activities of agricultural producers,» in which they summarized and systematized the internal factors of the regions’ competitiveness, allowing monitoring changes in the production and socio-economic spheres of functioning, proposed an approach to developing a scheme for the influence of regional competitiveness factors on the results of agro-industrial production in conjunction with the indicators of the Doctrine of National Food Security of the Republic of Belarus until 2030.

Loban A.G., researcher in Sector of Economics of Agro-Industrial Branches, Master of Economics, in his report «Foreign and domestic experience in the development of feed production: directions and trends» stated that the increase in consumption of livestock products makes necessary to improve feed production based on world practice and domestic experience, reported proposals on mechanisms for stimulating the industry.
