Born in 1902 in the village of Turin, Igumensky district, Minsk province.

Under his leadership, the Belarusian Research Institute of Economics and Organization of Agricultural Production was organized in 1956.

He prepared and published a number of scientific works on the economic efficiency of melioration of swamps and wetlands, the cost of agricultural products. Under his leadership, guidelines were developed for scientifically based management of agriculture taking into account the soil and climatic conditions of the regions, issues of restoration and development of agriculture, specialization, improvement of the organization of production, consolidation of production structures, introduction of business accounting, additional payment for labor in collective and state farms of the country.

Author of more than 100 scientific works, including 6 monographs.

Under his supervision, 5 candidates of economic sciences were trained.
