The monograph presents the theoretical and methodological foundations for the formation of the country's food security system, substantiating the potential for supplying the regions, taking into account socio-economic factors. Mechanisms for managing the country's food independence are presented, mainly on the basis of its own production, the stability of the national food system operating in conditions of instability of the external environment, optimization of export-import flows and the creation of conditions for increasing the flow of foreign currency.

Along with theory and methodology, directions for increasing the efficiency of agricultural organizations, improving the management system, prospects for the development of production and technical services in the agricultural sector are outlined, methods are given for the reorganization of commercial organizations of various forms of ownership, scientific principles for increasing labor productivity, the effective functioning of social infrastructure entities, and also specific specific recommendations for regulating foreign trade, taking into account the integration of the national agro-industrial complex into international and regional structures.
