The dissemination and promotion of scientific knowledge and the implementation of research results are essential components of the institute's activities. The publication of scientific, practical, and reference literature contributes to the achievement of these objectives. Its subject matter is broad and multifaceted: the current state and problems of the economy, areas for increasing production efficiency, methodological approaches to developing effective agricultural business models, areas for improving financial, pricing, and investment-innovation mechanisms for the development of Agro-Industrial Complex, methodological proposals for achieving a balance in national food markets, improving organizational and economic relations, etc.

The institute publishes 20 to 40 books and brochures annually, including the annual interdepartmental thematic collection «Economic Issues in the Development of Agriculture in Belarus» (published since 1972; in 2021, it was included in the list of scientific publications of the Republic of Belarus for the publication of dissertation research results), the results of applied («Scientific Principles of Regulation and Development of Agro-Industrial Complex: Proposals and Implementation Mechanisms», published since 1996) and fundamental (published since 2007) research conducted within the framework of state programs, and monitoring the national food security of the Republic of Belarus.

For many years, publishing activities were carried out under licenses for publishing and printing activities. Since 2013, the institute has held a state registration certificate for publisher, manufacturer, and distributor of printed publications, issued on September 20, 2013, № 1/39.

Furthermore, scientific achievements are widely covered in the media: scientists present on radio and television, at international and national conferences, and publish 200-250 articles annually in journals and newspapers, including foreign ones.

The Institute, together with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, is the founder of the journal «Agrarian Economics».

«Agrobulletin»—the first name of the journal «Agrarian Economics»—was first published in 1995 by the Research Institute of Economics and Information of Agro-Industrial Complex, its founder, as a result of the Agricultural Information Support Project, implemented under the TACIS Program for the Republic of Belarus. Initially, it was simply an informational publication, covering macroeconomic statistics, government decisions in agriculture, and global prices for material resources and agricultural products.

The fourth issue of the Agrobulletin was published under the title «Agroeconomics». The first analytical materials began to appear—research results from scientists and agricultural economists—and the publication's volume increased significantly.

Since October 2000, «Agrarian Economics» has become a scientific and production journal. The publication reached this milestone with a consistent volume, regular sections, a well-established design, and, most importantly, a loyal following of contributors and readers. «Agrarian Economics» has become known to many specialists in Belarus's agro-industrial complex.

Since 2006, the journal has been published under the name «Agrarian Economics». Today, it is an authoritative scientific journal with a distinctive identity, sought after by government agencies, research institutions, and agricultural enterprises.
