Modern development problems of world food system are considered, the peculiarities of physical and economic food access to the population in the context of life quality and safety in food are revealed, perspective formation tendencies of the grocery markets are defined, some solutions to the problems taking into account globalization development of economy and trade liberalization of agro-industrial production are presented.
Monitoring is executed according to technique, provisions, criteria and indicators of the Concept of National Food Security approved by the resolution of Ministers Council of the Republic of Belarus from March 10, 2004 № 252, National Statistical Committee and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, on its basis the safety level in the food sphere is defined, tendencies, prospects and balance of food markets, their characteristics are identified as subjects of common agricultural market of the regional integration and the formation of CU and CES are revealed, the potential of threats, the factors causing their manifestation and measures for their anticipation and overcoming are defined .
The book is intended for governing bodies of all levels, scientists, teachers of higher educational institutions, graduate students, undergraduates and students.
