On May 21, 2026, a round table titled «Regulation of production processes in agriculture: current practices and prospects for their improvement» was held at the Republican Unitary Scientific Enterprise «The Institute of System Researches in Agro-Industrial Complex of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus».

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus; RUE «The Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Animal Husbandry»; RUE «The Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Arable Farming»; RUE «The Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus»; ОАО «Kokhanovo-Agro»; the State Enterprise «Voskhod»; the «Ostroshitsky Gorodok» branch of ОАО «Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky»; ОАО «Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm»; OOO «SKARB-bio»; Production Association «Belorusneft»; OAO «Molochnye Gorki»; as well as higher education institutions (EI «Belarusian State Economic University»; EI «Belarusian State Agricultural Academy»; EI «Grodno State Agrarian University»; Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel of Agro-Industrial Complex at EI «Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University»).

The participants were welcomed by Vladimir Vladimirovich Pustosilo, Deputy Head of the Main Department of Economics – Head of the Department of Analytical Work and Forecasting of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.

During the round table, the following issues were discussed: practical recommendations for ensuring compliance with production and technological discipline in agricultural organizations; staffing challenges of agricultural enterprises in the context of compliance with technological regulations for production; regulation of production processes in crop and livestock farming; experience in regulating production processes in specific agricultural organizations; methodological aspects of monitoring compliance with technological regulations in agricultural production; regulatory and legal framework for production processes in the dairy industry as a tool of state regulation for long-term sectoral development; compliance with technological regulations in the context of digitalization of agricultural production.

The participants noted that further improvement of practices for regulating production processes in the agricultural sector should be aimed at ensuring the effective functioning of agriculture and accelerating the development of the Belarusian Agro-Industrial Complex.

Among the most important proposals were: the need to update existing sectoral and technological regulations for crop and livestock production, taking into account the innovative development of the industry and its digitalization; the importance of developing recommendations for communicating planned targets to specific performers, including motivating their timely fulfillment and overfulfillment across structural units and sectoral areas, as well as categories of personnel, with measures of responsibility for specific performers in case of failure to meet assigned targets.

It was decided to prepare, based on the results of the round table and taking into account the institute’s research, a relevant scientific and practical publication for use by specialists of agricultural organizations.
