Presentation of the Book «Our President» at the NAS of Belarus

On March 20, 2025, employees of the institute took part in the presentation of the book «Our President» at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The event featured speeches from members of the authorial team: Alexander Mikhailovich Radkov, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Belarus, and Alexander Nikolaevich Karliukevich, Director of the publishing house «Belarus» and Chairman of the Union of Writers of Belarus. During the speeches, the attendees learned about the three-year-long meticulous work behind the creation of «Our President», the goals set by the authorial team, and the broad popularity the book now enjoys among the country’s citizens.

Chairman of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Grigorievich Gusakov emphasized the importance of such a presentation for the scientific community: «The President played a crucial role in defending and preserving the current structure of the National Academy of Sciences. The very first thing the Head of State did after being elected was to visit the Academy, listen to the scientists, and promise — and provide — support.» He reminded the audience that, thanks to the President’s efforts, the Academy has been able to carry out a number of large-scale projects. This makes it all the more important for the academic community to become familiar with the book about the President — a publication that, in Vladimir Gusakov’s view, has become another national brand.
