First Place at the Winter Spartakiad of the NAS of Belarus 2025!

On February 8, 2025, the winter Spartakiad among employees of organizations of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Belarus was held at the «Foton» recreation camp. The event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, and our team traditionally took part.

This year, our athletes delivered an outstanding performance, securing 1st place out of 61 participating teams! The team scored 429.5 points, surpassing RUE «Flax Institute» (388 points) and RUE «Scientific and Practical Center for Agricultural Mechanization of the NAS of Belarus» (383 points).

The competitions included both individual and team events: ski races (7th place), team skiing (3rd place), pull-ups on a horizontal bar (6th–8th places), «Squirrel Wheels» (2nd place), air rifle shooting (22nd place), «Caterpillar» race (11th place), relay race (13th–14th places), «Memory Box» (2nd–7th places).

It is important to highlight the perseverance and teamwork of ALL team members, who, despite the cold and snow, overcame all obstacles and secured 1st place!
