Third Place at the 2024 Summer Spartakiad

On August 31, 2024, the traditional summer Spartakiad among employees of organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus took place at the Foton Summer Camp, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the Belarusian trade union movement.
This year, our team (Anna Volokhovich (captain), Ksenia Dragun, Vladislav Mineev, Anastasia Putsyk, Alexander Sharenko, Pavel Shemetkov) secured an impressive 3rd place out of 61 teams. The results showed a significant gap from the 4th place team, and only a few points were needed to reach 2nd place.
The competitions included individual and group activities, with the following notable achievements: «Tumbleweed»  – 1st place,  «Obstacle Course»  – 2nd place, «Long Jump» – 3rd place, and «Gorodki» – 1st place (shared between three teams)..
A significant contribution was made by the support group, which helped resolve organizational issues. We commend the coordinated and organized efforts of the team, their mutual support, and their unwavering desire to win!
