 The monograph examines the theoretical, methodological and practical issues of food security, taking into account the development of world agriculture, the formation of food resources and the characteristics of the national food complex. The essence, significance, criteria, parameters, directions of achievement and forecast of food security, its internal and international aspects, as well as possible threats and risks are studied in the form of a system task with the identification of the most important hierarchical levels.
