 The monograph analyzed the current state and development trends of the fodder supply in the agriculture of the republic, cost recovery of fodder production and animal husbandry; substantiated the forecast of fodder production for 2005-2010; assessed the efficiency of cultivated forage crops and used meadow lands, the structure of areas under cultivation, including fodder (including grain-fodder), food and industrial crops, taking into account the cost recovery criterion and natural and economic potential of regions and business entities, which is carried out by the intensification; proposals are given on the size and rational distribution over the regions; the priorities and objectives for the development of effective forage production have been determined.
