It analyzes the effectiveness of the cultivation of this crop at different mowing times and when applying different doses of nitrogen fertilizers. It presents the results of the analysis of the efficiency of cultivation of this crop at different mowing times and with the introduction of different doses of nitrogen fertilizers. It was found that the first mowing period on August 20 was the most profitable. On average, over the years of research, the net profit of experience was 1719.9 BYN/hectare with a profitability of 155%. This is higher in relation to the least expensive variant of the experiment (1,022.3 BYN/ton) of the last mowing period (20.10) by 657.9 BYN/hectare of profit and 51% profitability, respectively. The advantage of the variant of fertilizers background + N120 was established when analyzing the efficiency of crop cultivation. So, with the highest annual production costs (on average 1197.2 BYN/ton), a high profit of 2521.8 BYN/hectare was obtained with a profitability of 209%, which is 373.4 BYN higher than the rest of the options per hectare (background + N90) and 1353.7 BYN/hectare (background), respectively, with a profitability of up to 95% (background).
