The World Food Day is celebrated on October 16, 2017.

The World Food Day is celebrated on October 16. In 2017 the following subject is announced 'We will change the future of migration flows. We will invest in food security and rural development'.

In 2017 the Republic of Belarus has prepared and has submitted the Country Report on the goals achievement of the millennium of the UN. It has included the sections on ensuring food security of the country population including questions of baby food availability.

Also this year our country has firstly received the offer from the Committee of Global Food Security of FAO on preparation of the Report obout the experience of the Republic of Belarus on ensuring food security and steady agriculture. The material is prepared by the Institute of System Researches in Agroindustrial Complex of NAS of Belarus together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus and presented at the session of the Committee of Gobal Food Security of FAO
