Guleychik Konstantin Avgustovich

K. A. Guleychik was born in 1903 in the village of Kamenka, Uzdensk volost, Minsk government. Higher education. In 1931 he graduated from the Belarusian Agricultural Academy with a degree in agronomist-organizer of the highest qualification. PhD in Agricultural Sciences, senior researcher.

From 1936 to 1941 he worked at the Institute of Land Reclamation and Wetland Management as head of the department. From 1946 to 1957, holding various positions in scientific institutions of the Academy of Sciences of the BSSR. From 1957 to 1971 – head of department, deputy director of the Belarusian Research Institute of Economics and Organization of Agriculture.

Participant of the Great Patriotic War. He was demobilized with the rank of captain in 1946. He was awarded the medal «For Military Merit», «For the Liberation of Warsaw», «For the Capture of Berlin», «For Victory over Germany».
