Gudimenko Ivan Ignatievich

I. I. Gudimenko was born on March 25, 1922 in the village of Medvednya, Cherven district, Minsk region. Higher education. Graduated from the Vitebsk Zooveterinary Institute with a degree in veterinary medicine, PhD in Veterinary Sciences. From 1942 to 1944 – participant in the partisan movement in Belarus.

From 1944 to 1976 he worked in agriculture and in institutions of secondary specialized education in various leadership positions. From 1976 to 1991 – senior researcher at the Belarusian Research Institute of Economics and Organization of Agriculture.

During the Great Patriotic War, he took part in hostilities as part of the partisan brigade named after Schors, reconnaissance company commander.

For military and labor services to the country, I. I. Gudimenko was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and eight medals.
