Efremenko Vasiliy Vladimirovich
Born on April 13, 1925 in the village of Dolgiy Log, Kostyukovichi district, Mogilev region. Higher education, Doctor of Economics, Professor.
In 1955, he graduated from the Belarusian Agricultural Academy and worked as an agronomist at the Slonim MTS (1955–1957), director of the Pobeditel state farm in the Slonim region (1957–1960), second secretary of the Schuchinsky District Committee KPB (1960–1962), head of the Svisloch production collective-state farm administration of the Grodno region (1962–1963), director of the Rachkovichi state farm of the Slutsk region (1964–1967), deputy head of the main department of state farms of the Ministry of Agriculture of the BSSR (1967–1970), head of the main department of state farms of the Ministry of Agriculture BSSR (1970–1972). Chief Scientific Secretary of the Western Branch of the All-Union Academy of Agricultural Sciences (1972–1975). For 20 years, V. V. Efremenko worked at the Belarusian Research Institute of Economics and Organization of Agriculture as a researcher and head of the department.
Participant of the Great Patriotic War. Was wounded twice. For military and labor merits he was awarded twelve government awards, including three orders.
