Director of the institute in 2005–2012.

Under his leadership, the institute initiated advanced developments in the field of the country’s agricultural economy, such as:

– strategy of foreign trade relations between Belarus and the countries of the European Union in the agricultural sector;

– agricultural policy of the Union State of Belarus and Russia;

– scientific methodology for assessing and compensating economic damage during the seizure of agricultural land;

– methodological recommendations on the formation of a balanced market for agricultural raw materials and food (in the context of the global food market), on priority areas for the development of the social sphere of rural areas in the new conditions, on attracting additional investments in agro-industrial production (using the example of individual industries and enterprises), on optimizing volumes and sources of investment in Agro-Industrial Complex in the context of industries, to reduce the cost of production of agricultural products and bring material and labor costs to the standard level, to reform the systems of material and technical supply and agricultural services, to increase labor motivation, to improve the specialization and location of livestock sectors, to disband collective farms and state farms into market-type economic structures, for the development of land circulation in the field of large and small agribusiness, optimization of import supplies of agricultural products and finished food to the domestic Belarusian market;

– industry regulations for the cultivation of sunflower for oilseeds, fiber flax; organizational and technological standards for the cultivation of vegetable, fruit, and berry crops and the cultivation of planting material, the production of livestock products and the procurement of feed;

– proposals for intensifying and increasing the efficiency of commercial crop and livestock industries, improving the classification of accounting accounts in agriculture, personnel and cost management in agricultural organizations, the development of peasant, farm and personal subsidiary plots in the conditions of structural reformation of Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Belarus;

– models of farms of various production areas, recommended for the conditions of the Republic of Belarus;

– new forms of labor motivation for agricultural producers in modern conditions.
