Ankudov Vasily Efimovich

V. E. Ankudov was born in 1895 in the village of Tihonovichi (now Logoisk district) of the Minsk region. From 1917 to 1934 he served in the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, where he rose from a military school cadet, platoon and squadron commander to commander of the 27th Cavalry Regiment of the 7th Samara Division. In 1939, he graduated from the Institute of Distillation and Wine Industry and at the same time held the position of director of a distillery in the Tolochin region. From January 1957 to 1966 he worked at the Belarusian Research Institute of Economics and Organization of Agriculture as deputy director for supply and maintenance, and from 1966 to 1974 – supply and maintenance manager.

 

Participant of the Great Patriotic War. Awarded two Orders of the Red Star, Orders of Lenin, the Red Banner, medals «For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945», «For Victory over Japan».
